Flag Football registration for the Fall is now open. Flag Football for grades K-1 is open to all Montvale, Woodcliff Lake, and Hillsdale residents. Registration is done through TeamSnap.

Tackle Registration (Grades 2-8)

Tackle Football registration for the Fall is now open. Tackle Football is available for grades 1-8 and combines Hillsdale, Woodcliff Lake, and Montvale under the Hillsdale Hawks. Registration is through Hillsdale at: https://hillsdale-hawks.sportngin.com/register/form/424229890

About MAL Football

Football is organized under the Montvale Athletic League (MAL), and provides flag and tackle football for Montvale and Woodcliff Lake.

Football is strictly a Fall sport. Practices start mid August, and the Season is over in early November.

The Football program provides children a way to experience football in a controlled environment. Divisions are separated by grades, and the goal is to maximize play time for all players. There are 4 tackle and 2 flag football divisions.

For our tackle program we will combine with the Hillsdale Hawks program and make a single team within the the Bergen County Jr. Tackle Football League. 3rd-8th graders participate in league play on Saturdays against other BCJFL teams. 1st/2nd graders may participate with int “Mighty Mites” tackle program as an alternative to flag football. The flag program will be run in Montvale and is for Grades K-1.

Mike Weaver is the Football Commisioner, and coordinates the season for both flag and tackle.
