About Jr. Cowboys Cheerleading

Cheerleading is organized under the Montvale Athletic League (MAL), and services children of Montvale, and Woodcliff Lake.  This program cheers for the Jr. Cowboys football program, and also competes in competitive cheerleading events.

Cheeleading is strictly a Fall sport.  Practices start late August, and the program concludes early November.  Teamwork, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and building self-esteem are the primary goals.  In keeping with this mission statement, all cheerleaders are expected to be respectful to their coaches, one another, and to school property and officials during practices and games.  Failure to respect these guidelines can result in the removal of the Cheerleader from the program.

Dawn Priestner and Sharyn Milkes are the cheer commisioners, and coordinate the season for grades K-8.
